Apple Tablet an iPhone Dock?

Simply slide your iPhone into the dock slot on the top of the tablet and the slate mode launches. Support for the tablet's higher resolution, SD Slot, Inkwell and optional solid state storage are all included in the latest iPhone OS. The onboard battery is not only good for 8+ hours it also fully charges the iPhone.

By utilizing the iPhone's processors, memory and wireless capabilities component cost is significantly reduced.

The Slate has four physical buttons: power/sleep, volume rocker, iPhone eject, and home. Stereo speakers are located along the bottom; a front facing camera and microphone are just above the screen; and a slot for the included stylus is located on the top right.

Slate versions of Mail, Safari, iChat, iTunes, iMovie and iPhoto are included, and Slate versions of iWork Apps are available for $9.99 each in the App Store. Slate versions of Microsoft Office Apps and Photoshop Elements available late spring.
